What is infant colic?
Colic generally occurs between 2 weeks and 4 months of life. They are characterised by intense crying, often at the end of the day, in an otherwise healthy baby.

Essential precautions
Caution: Baby's skin is very sensitive. Be sure to follow these rules:
- Temperature lukewarm only (30-35°C maximum)
- Always interpose a cloth between the hot water bottle and the skin
- Never leave baby alone with a hot water bottle
- Check the temperature regularly
