Choosing the right hot water bottle

The right temperature
The ideal temperature is between 40 and 45°C. Always test on the inside of your wrist before applying to your back.
The right positioning
Lie on your back and place the hot water bottle under the painful area. You can also sit with the hot water bottle propped up against the back of your chair.
Duration and frequency
Apply the heat for 15-20 minutes, up to 3 times a day. Allow the skin to cool between each application.
